Sangria
I think everyone loves Sangria and there is not Spanish Fiesta without Sangria!!
It is so easy to make that you will want to make it for every occasion you have to celebrate with friends and family or just for yourself to have a cold and refreshing drink.
The main ingredient is red wine, and it doesn’t need to be an expensive one, I always get the cheaper one 😊 If you want to make it alcohol-free you can substitute the red wine with red grape juice, cranberry, or pomegranate juice.
Ingredients: (Serves 6)
3 peaches peeled and cut in pieces
1 orange and 1 lemon cut into thin slices
150g of sugar
600 ml of cold red wine
1 tbsp of vermouth
1 tbsp of brandy
1 tbsp of gin
½ tsp of ground cinnamon
330ml of cold lemonade (you can use plain lemonade or cloudy lemonade)
10 ice cubes (plus extra to serve)
Method:
1. Mix well the wine, lemonade, gin, vermouth, brandy, sugar, and cinnamon to ensure the sugar has been dissolved.
2. Add the pieces of peaches, slices of lemon, orange and refrigerate if you can for an hour or longer.
3. Serve cold with ice cubes and enjoy!!
